STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, 1 in 3 workers suffer from moderate to extreme levels of stress. Stress related worker's compensation claims have risen by over 400% in the past decade and the total cost of workplace stress to Australian businesses is in excess of $1 billion each year.

The Occupational Health & Safety Act 1983, states that stress management in the workplace is the employers' responsibility - that's where we can help. Our stress management workshops are designed to raise your employee's awareness about the impact of stress and to provide them with practical tools to improve the way they manage their stress.

We help people understand the importance of stress management and assist them in creating manageable and lasting change that will have an impact on their personal happiness and their performance at work. Recent research coming out of the US tells us that happy people are more engaged with their work, build better relationships with colleagues and clients, have less sick days and remain in a role longer.  Our focus is on helping your employees understand that happiness is accessible and it can often be as simple as understanding individual priorities.

The stress management workshops make a difference to the way your employees think.  Improving stress management has a significant impact on your staff.

  • reduce absenteeism

  • improve communication

  • renew a sense of motivation

  • reduce workplace conflict

  • reduce staff turnover

  • improve performance

Half Day Workshop 'More Time, Less Stress'
Kate James presents a half day stress management workshop designed to help participants understand the impact of stress in both their personal and professional lives. Through activities and discussion that focus on the individual, Kate will encourage your employees to open the door on the possibility that stress can be significantly reduced by making small, achievable changes. This highly interactive session is offered to groups of between 8 and 20 participants. The program allows time for discussion about concepts so that participants can fully engage with and understand the material. The focus is on raising awareness about stress and how it affects our performance in the workplace and in participants' personal lives.

'The session yesterday was fantastic! I just wish I'd started going to these earlier.'

'Facilitator was superb! Opened up my eyes to many useful tools for personal and professional effectiveness.'

'Whether speaking one on one with clients or addressing large audiences, Kate speaks eloquently and with warmth, bringing simplicity to some of life’s most daunting questions. Earlier this year, Kate addressed a Public Relations Institute of Australia event on the subject of career rejuvenation. Nearly six months later, I still have total recall of her main message which I have shared enthusiastically with friends and colleagues alike. Her personal reflections, interspersed with the wisdom of professional practice as a career coach were delivered in a way that the audience related to easily, enabling us to implement real change in our lives.' Christina Hickie, Consultant, Fenton Communications

‘Kate, just a note to say a big thank you for the talk last night. The feedback was very positive and I think that we all took something away from it. Your style is great, with just the right balance of relaxed delivery without diminishing the importance of the material, and engaged the group throughout. I hope we can work together in the future.’
Brian Peters, Competency Executive, Terra Firma
