Our small business coaching is designed to
help you enjoy being in business. Whether
you have a small business that you'd like to grow or even if you're
just dabbling with the idea of starting your own business, we'll
help you to clarify the next steps.
Initially we meet for a single session so that you can decide
whether our business coaching suits your needs. Once you are ready
to go ahead, you can choose from either an in-person or telephone

How is our program different?
With seventeen years experience managing several successful creative
businesses in Melbourne and over six years of small business
coaching experience, Kate James provides a business coaching program
designed to support you through the exciting but sometimes daunting
process of setting up your own business.
We'll help you organise all of the practical things you need to get
your business started including writing a business plan, registering
your business name, developing your marketing material including
business cards, brochures, website, press release and newsletter
etc. We'll help you develop your branding to ensure you position
your business correctly in the marketplace. Together we create a
simple but effective marketing plan that you can follow to ensure
you are consistently creating opportunities for your business to
grow and succeed.
We'll help you create systems and procedures that will free up your
time and make your business run more smoothly.
We'll work with you to devise your customer service practices to
ensure your existing clients leave you with a great experience.
We will talk to you about the challenges you might encounter with
competitors, staff, suppliers...or anything else that has arisen in
your small business.
